Professional Experience Equivalence
While the importance and significance of formal education cannot be denied, the CHRDB also recognizes and, in fact, celebrates the real-world experience of individuals who have spent years honing their skills and knowledge and becoming experts in their fields. This acknowledgment, a firm belief that not everyone was meant to learn from a book, and a true understanding of the impact that professional experience has had on the world through some of the greatest entrepreneurs, leaders, influencers, and giants have been the motivations behind CHRDB’s commitment and passion for Professional Experience Equivalence.

An innovative approach towards the accreditation of candidates based on experience has been developed over the years by CHRDB, designed to culminate the practical real-world experience of individuals, and quantify it into years of equivalent academic knowledge and training. Essentially, we provide tangible recognition of an individual's work experience as equivalent to formal education or training in a particular field or profession.

CHRDB’s Professional Experience Equivalence is divided into several programs that look at the candidates' prior academic credentials and assess their knowledge and abilities per relevant international standards. Their professional history profile will be enhanced through their accreditation, making it easier for them to further advance to higher positions in multinational businesses that offer competitive and more rewarding returns.

Professional Experience Equivalence is often used to assess an individual's qualifications for professional certification, and there are several factors that are taken into consideration when evaluating an individual's work experience for Professional Experience Equivalence, including:

-
Relevance of the work experience: The work experience must be closely related to the field or profession for which the individual is seeking certification or licensure.
-
Duration of the work experience: The length of the work experience must meet or exceed the minimum requirements for equivalent education.
-
Level of responsibility: The individual's work experience must demonstrate increasing levels of responsibility and skill development.
-
Quality of the work experience: The individual's work experience must be of high quality and demonstrate their ability to perform at a professional level.
-
Documentation of the work experience: The individual must be able to provide adequate documentation of their work experience, such as letters of recommendation, job descriptions, portfolios, and performance evaluations.
Professional Experience Equivalence can provide individuals with an alternative pathway to formal classroom and/or book education, allowing them to recognize the skills and knowledge they have acquired through their work experience.
